WhatsApp is a very important business tool for African countries and Latin American countries. I guess it hasn't caught horn in other parts of the world for some reason. But yeah, because WhatsApp is a very important business tool in this part of the world. That's the reason why I'm making podcast episodes about how we can use WhatsApp better for our business. Now, for those of you who've been listening to the podcast for any length of time, you will remember the communications hierarchy that I talk about,
which is the most effective forms of communication and how we ought to stagger our outreach when we're talking to potential customers, potential clients, stakeholders or people we've been networking with. So at the top of the hierarchy we have face to face. So whenever you're trying to close the deal, build a relationship, achieve your agenda, network, whatever, if you can do things face to face, that would be the most, that would be the best, the best way.
All I put it. Now that will be the most effective way. Yeah, because you're there in person. You can pick up on new ones. You can pick up on tone, you can pick up on inflection. You can pick pick up on body language. You're going to be able to adapt your communication style in real time to whatever it is that you need to say to move the, to move the relationship forward, you know, to get things going. So that's why face to face is the best.
So the only problem with face to face is it costs money. You have to drive someplace. And of course, you know, currently at the time of making this recording, fuel is about 1300 naira per per per litre. Of course, you know, no small thing. So yeah, that's just the problem. It's expensive. You have to take out your time there. For those of you who are based in Lagos or Port Harcourt, I mean for those of us in Hawaii, in Abuja, you know, sharp,
sharp, you can say, oh boy, you day house, you guys around, you know, yeah, 30 minutes. You don't turbo, you're at the guy's house, you will talk one or two hours, 30 minutes back, you know, traffic time, one hour Max. On a bad day, maybe you spend 2 hours in traffic. But then for those of you based in Lagos, I remember those Lagos days, sometimes getting to the island alone, you know, 3 hours, you see the traffic by the time you're done.
You drove three hours one way to attend a meeting and then maybe you spent one hour in a meeting and then you drove 2 hours back then like that as our five hours will disappear traffic alone. So that's one of the reasons why face to face isn't practical. Honestly, if you can do it cost effectively and especially where the juice is worth the squeeze, if you understand what I'm saying, because he gets on kind prospects, you know, some kind business opportunities that yes,
you buy tickets, you book hotel, you do this, you do this, you do this. But if that thing click, the one that will enter your pocket to be like you know, 100 M, you know, of course that kind of thing, then please go ahead by all means, you know, borrow, scrounge, fly and take that meeting. Because if that thing clicks, this is what will come in. So you know, that's the cost benefit time analysis. So face to face most effective problem, most expensive after that is audio, that is phone call.
So phone call, WhatsApp call, what else? Skype call for those of you who steal Skype, although I don't know Nigerians who Skype anymore, Zoom audio, what else? And you know, Telegram audio, any audio thing now, the reason why that is the second most effective. Sorry for those of you who already aware, I'm just going through over this thing in small detail because there are people who discover the podcast every single day.
I mean, so far we're getting about, I think like I don't like carrying one 5200 new subscribers every single month. I'm not sure how many, you know, on the daily, but people always finding the podcast for the first time. So that's why sometimes I have to go over, I have to reintroduce or re summarize some of these things. And then for those of you who are regular listeners, it's not a bad idea, you know, for you guys to know because I want this thing to be drummed into your heads.
It's not just enough to know it you think should be in your brain so that as you're moving, you know, you don't internalize, you know, you don't date internal. So as you're moving, it's like a subconscious sub. Sorry, subconscious. Yeah, it's a subconscious script that is running in the background and getting you in your business moves. So audio is next. And the reason why audio is next obviously is because you can pick up on tone.
You can pick up on some inflection. You know, you can tell when somebody says was all right and guy die, die your no, no, no, die your service. They all right, They all right, you know, So if somebody types that in an e-mail, the person said the same thing, it's all right. But when you're on the phone, you can pick up on inflection and you can tell that, you know, the second guy that you're blah, blah, blah is all right.
You can tell that that second is all right. Is a mark of approval, correct? Mark of approval. So these are the reasons why phone is next. Now, surprisingly, video is dead as at today, today, today, today, things might change in a couple of years, maybe five years, 10 years, but now video is dead. Maybe video is dead because people are still anxious about, oh, do I look OK, where am I supposed to be looking, blah, blah, blah.
And so because of that, people are not really paying attention when it's video. So video is prepared, but video is also good if you can have somebody on the on the screen. Now, the text based forms of communication are the least effective. And at the bottom of that is e-mail, because e-mail has the worst open rates and the worst reply rates. So that's the reason why I tell people that, well, you know, as much as possible, start from the top and then work down.
But e-mail is not a good conversational medium. Now today we're talking about WhatsApp, obviously, because that's what I said at the beginning. Now the reason why I'm talking about WhatsApp is not just because it's an important business who for African and Latin American countries, but also because it's a good conversational medium. So wherever you can as possible face to face, you know, you know, they work phone call.
OK, he's spoken a few times, but now the guy they're busy. It's not a bad idea to now switch to WhatsApp to continue need analysis, trying to figure out who this person is, what they want, you know, blah, blah, blah, or to continue with relationship building. OK, me and this guy, we don't they yarn or maybe we've done one or two deals before, but you know, just to you know, may I date top of mind just once in a while, may I reach out just they highlight the guy you know, or the babe as the case may be.
So it's not a bad idea to put WhatsApp in the mix. Now today what I want to talk about is problems with how I put it. OK, some of you are trying to use WhatsApp for business growth. Good. Because of that, we suppose clap for you. So if you've been use, if you've been trying to use it, then you know, clap for yourself. But there's a couple of mistakes that people have been making, a couple of things that people have been doing wrong.
And so I'm going to use an actual exchange that I had with someone really recently. In fact, it's not even an exchange because as a guy, they send me a message. I just ignore the guy. I just ignore him because in his own mind now he would say he has done something effective because he has been forwarding it to lots of people. Obviously he's been forwarding it to everybody in this contact list and you know, on average all of us have maybe like 1002
thousand 3000 contacts. So of course when you forward one message to 2000 contacts, you feel as if you have done work today or Please remember it is not about the number of contacts that you reached. Please listen that you forwarded one message to 2000 contacts. Don't patch yourself on the back and say I've done work. If you forward one message to 2000 contacts, all right, but then 1998 of them either ignore you, block you, spam you, or move you to archive.
Can you say you have done work? Indeed. Can you say your WhatsApp outreach has been effective? If you send it to 2 thousand, 1998 of them block you, move you to spam, whatever, then the only two that see it, maybe one will just give you thumbs or give you heart. Then maybe only one person will engage in conversation. Honestly, you haven't known work. Those of us who are using WhatsApp for business, because WhatsApp makes it easy to broadcast, we feel as if we don't work.
January 1st week we broadcast 2000 clients. February and January 2nd week we broadcast. You know, 2000 third week, 2000, fourth week, 2000. You will now tell yourself, tell your Olga, tell your business partner that you broadcast 8000 messages for the month of February, month of January. That doesn't mean you don't work. If most of these messages are going ignored, going on read, going blocked, going spammed, going, you know, whatever people are not reading, people are not engaging, then you're not being effective with your WhatsApp outreach.
So that's what we're going to talk about today. If I maybe that should be even the first thing. First of all, this whole thing on forward, forward, forward, forward, forward, forward. Look, please, you both should stop being lazy. Stop being lazy. I understand that we are trying to save time and we're trying to be efficient with our with our time. I've said it before and I'll say it again, at least at this stage, copy, paste, edit,
personalize and send is a better formula than just doing forward, forward, forward because, and I don't know if this guy realizes it at the top of the message when you forward like this, I don't know how long WhatsApp has been doing it, but I've started noticing it. WhatsApp says forwarded many times. You send this message, you're trying to pretend that you're personalizing it to them, but at the top of the message, WhatsApp will put it there forwarded many times.
In fact, those one particular person, I think once my mother-in-law was there, my mother-in-law was keep coming visit. This was a long time ago, I think last year. And then we were cleaning out her phone 'cause she complained that her phone was hanging, you know, wanting, wanting, you know, how do you delete messages, blah, blah, blah. So we're going through her phone. That's me and my sister-in-law who does the delete, delete,
delete, you know, just deleting the video, deleting all these kind of things. And I saw in her message, I have not seen it before, but I saw it in my mother in law's phone. The message was in her inbox and then WhatsApp wrote at the top forwarded 1000, some, some, some, some, some something times if you are how I put it anyway, a word is enough. Otherwise on my own phone, the one I have seen is at the top of the message.
When you forward to 2000 people and you think you don't work, what WhatsApp is putting at the top of the message and what happened when these guys said these messages, WhatsApp wrote forwarded many times. That is what they wrote for me. That's one that I've seen. Then for my mother in law's phone last year when they came to come and visit and I was going through our phone in one of those group chats, I saw forwarded 1000 something,
something, something times. Now ask yourself, you're sending a message, you're pretending that this thing is personalized. It's a forwarded message. Even if the person is not smart, the message starts with forwarded many times or the message starts with forwarded 1000 something, something, something times. Do you honestly think that person feels like they have received a personalized message? Even you, when you receive a message and then WhatsApp says forwarded many times or forwarded 1000 times, do you feel like there's any need to respond?
When somebody sends you that message Happy New Year and then WhatsApp shows forwarded many times, do you bother clicking back to say oh boy how fun a happy new year. Do you respond now? If you don't, why do you think other people are going to engage with your business message? Why reason think it. That is the reason why I say if you must do this one too many approach on WhatsApp, the best thing to do for now I know is a pain is copy and paste then edit and personalize before you send.
So that message that you send. Happy New Year to all my favorite customers. I really appreciate your business. You send it January 1st, it enters inside 2000 inboxes. But then you people who receive it, they see from the top WhatsApp would say forwarded many times or WhatsApp would say forwarded 1627 times. How about doing this copy, you compose the notes somewhere, you copy and then you paste and then that place I said happy new Year to all my wonderful customers.
You delete wonderful customers. I say happy new year. OK, no happy new year to my wonderful customers. You delete S the boot space. You now put the person's name. Happy New Year to you. Madam Chidera, you are one of my most wonderful and valued customers. I've enjoyed doing business with you over the course of the last year. May God support and May God bless you and provide for you and your family this year. Blah blah blah.
Said the only thing that you did was you copied and paste, then you deleted some parts and then you put Madam Chidera when it enters into Madam Chidera's box. WhatsApp will not say forwarded many times. WhatsApp will not say forwarded 1200 and something times. And because Madam Chidera's name is there, OK, she might feel as if, OK, you actually sent this message to her. Then she might act the message and then respond, which is what we want.
We don't want the message to just land in Madam Cheetah's inbox and then she ignore or she spam or she reports or she archive. What we actually want is Madam Cheetah to look at this thing and smile. Then she responds. We are making progress. So instead of all this forward, forward, forward, please copy, paste, edit, personalize, then send now the formula be that it will take time but you will increase the chances of your messages being read and acted upon.
Again, this is the formula. Create the notes that you want to send to 1000 people. Book out time that it's OK. This week I will see how many people I can send to at least every day. Let me send fifty 5050 every day. Let me try. You copy, you paste, put the person's name there. That's the editing part. Now personalizes. When you put something that is particular to that person that doesn't apply to anybody else, then you send.
Now some of you who say the personalized part is too much work, no problem. OK, don't personalize. But even if all you do is copy, paste and then change the person's name, good. It's something, but then if you personalize the message, personalize just means or customize, customize, customize just means. It can be received or understood by only me. So if you say, Madam Chidra, happy New Year, thank you very much for doing business.
I appreciate your custom, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. May God continue to bless you and the family. By the way, how is Dochuku? I hope he passed his cat kissing last. Hope he passed his cat kissing in November. Now that little bit, how is Tochuku? You know that Madam Chidera's son is Tochuku and then you remember that Tochuku was doing catechism. That particular thing that you added. Madam Chidera knows that you send this message to her because if you send that message to me,
it won't make sense to me because if I read it up like who the hell is Tochuku? That's all mean when we say customize. So when you copy, paste, edit, personalize and then customize before you send, good. We are now increasing the chances that somebody will read and they will act upon. It is not a guarantee, but we are increasing the chances that somebody will read and that somebody will act upon. The goal is not to send to 2000
people and they say we have done work. The goal is even if it's only 50 that we send. See, listen, if you send to 2000 people, right and only 100 people read and take action, that's poor. If you send to 500 people but only 100 people read and take action, it is better. So may you say what's the point? What's the difference that either we only 100 people took action? This is the difference. In the first one, your conversion rate was really,
really bad. 100 out of 2000 is what is that 5%, only 5% conversion rate. For the second one, 100 people respond out of 500, I'll be out of 500. That is A100500. Is that a 20% conversion rate or something? OK. So it means that the effectiveness of the second message is the effectiveness of the second campaign is better even though the exact same number of people responded. So that's on the positive end. Now let's look from the negative end.
If you send to 2000 people, only 100 people respond and then the remaining 1900 either ignored, spammed, blocked, reported, know whatever it is hurting our deliverability because the platforms are taking notice. Google notices, Facebook notices, Instagram notices, WhatsApp notices when you send these messages and so many people are blocking on following leaving subscribing. The algorithm who start thinking like, OK, this message is not valuable or this person, this sender is not valuable.
And the other one where it is only 400 people that ignore block, you know, whatever. Yeah, it's still a negative signal, but not as strong because at least all I put it, yeah, it's let me not put it out, it's not as strong. In the 1st, 195% of the people who received your message had a negative reaction, 95% in the second one. What's the percentage? Again, sorry, I'm not good with doing math on the fly, but you get my point.
So it does make a difference. Some of you say it doesn't matter. I sent 2100 people responded. I sent 501, hundred people responded it doesn't matter. Look, I'm telling you it does make it matter. Makes a qualitative difference, it does. OK so anyway, I wasted too much time on this part so let me move on. So I started off messages say good day my Odugu. Now, First off, this whole thing of titles, Myodogo Bros, senior man, you know, all these sorts of things.
So yeah, it's inauthentic. When you say Myodogo, WhatsApp shows this message forwarded many times. It's inauthentic. Now, flattery, and people don't like flattery. What people like is respect, regard. People like the fact that, OK, this person rates me, this person regard me, this person respect me. When you try playing all these funny, funny games, it's a good day. Myodogo. Of course, he said forwarded many times. So I know for sure that there are lots of women who received this message and they will say good day my Odoku is well anyway, let me leave it like that.
So all these titles anyway. So if you must do these kind of things, at least use Sir at least size multi, you know, whatever can apply to any number of people. So you must be this lazy. At least put Sir, don't go and use my Odoku before the message will be received by Al Haji Haruna. Meanwhile when you talk to Haruna, you have never called him Odugu before. So at least put Sir so that if Ian Achaul sees it, Sir will apply.
If Haruna sees it, Sir will apply. If Tavi Sharma sees it, Sir will apply. So stop with all this flattery or at least personalize the message. Copy paste that place that you wrote my Odoku, delete my Odoku, then put Tavishima or after Odoku put Tavishima. Good day my Odoku Tavishima. The person will now feel like this boy rate me. It will not be switching you because then they hail you Odoku anyway. So next thing the message it says please Sir, this is to inform you that this will be my last week working from the office.
I'll be moving to our warehouse from next week. Now what this guy intended to do is very, very good. Whenever you're having making, whenever you're going through significant changes in the business, it's nice to let your potential customers or your actual customers know it's a good thing. But rather than doing all these message, message, message forwarding, look at, remember what I said, communications hierarchy, excuse me face to face the best after that phone for your high value customer.
You don't send them a text message. He actually makes some time and pass through the office. You feel me for the people that you have gotten good money from serious money from. He actually takes some time and pass through the office and go and heal the auger. You say boss as neighborhood. I was just passing by What really I just want to let you know I'm no longer going to be with this company or they're transferring me here.
They're transferring me there. I appreciate all the business you've been doing with you Sir. Even though I won't be at this company anymore, you know, I appreciate you. I still want to maintain the relationships are so Odoku, just take this small wine as a, as a token of my, you know, so for the customers who are worth it, where you have been collecting good money, big money, you don't send text message to them. Go and see them.
This is part of relationship building. If you don't have money to buy the expensive wine, you just buy the non alcoholic wine and you tell them, you say sorry, you know, does you know, I know that you are more than this. Just take this as a token of my you know, you beg them say not token. I know say you don't pass this level, but it's just a token of my you know. Do I appreciate you face to face? Then for the other people that didn't give you good money, what you do is you pick up the phone and you call them Madam, how are you doing?
Blah, blah, blah. This is this that I don't want to check on you. Oh, and then apart from that, you know, they don't transfer me or I'm leaving this company or something, something, something, but I still want to maintain this relationship with you, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Thank you very much, man. You know, hoping to do more business in the future. God bless you. This that, that, that, that end the call.
Good phone call. It is a stronger gesture then all the other people that I cherry were there. You know you didn't do business with them or they're anyhow anyhow kind customer. OK, now those people you send a text message to, but still it will be copy, paste, edit, personalize. Then don't worry too much about time. The reason why you send one message to 2000 people is you want to just finish everything today. No, no, no, no.
Look slow down, take your time. If now sack them, sack you, no problem. They've given you 3 weeks notice. No problem. Use that three weeks to now be communicating with everybody you've done business with with this method that I said visit some people call, some people copy, paste, edit. Some people give yourself three weeks. You don't have to finish everything in one day. You know promotion. They don't promote you or remove you to a new department.
It's the same thing. Don't move you effective immediately. They will give you 2 weeks to settle in whatever. Use that two weeks. The people that are worthy of visiting visit the ones that are worthy of phone call call the ones that are worthy of those text message, text, copy, paste, edit, then send. You don't have to finish it today, give yourself time. But anyway, what this guy did was very good, you should be doing it as well.
Significant change, no dense IQ. Well, OK, no suck. Should we? OK, let's leave Zach then promote you to move you to a different department or they're moving you to zonal office or headquarter office. Yeah, so good idea. Keep in touch. So the guy now wrote I would have messaged you directly, but my WhatsApp account is restricted due to switching services to rehab my contacts. Anyway, that explanation. OK, to be honest, I don't even understand the explanation.
OK, so I think maybe the guy has switched WhatsApp accounts before and he wants to switch again and they're not allowing him. WhatsApp is restricting him. So you see what I've been saying. Now WhatsApp is trying to make sure that we don't end up being spambots. So it's understandable. It's normal. Now WhatsApp will restrict him and say, oh boy, you don't do you don't need a switch account before now we're not going to allow you again.
So it's only normal. But either way, if this is really the problem, nothing stops you from actually calling people on WhatsApp to let them know that this is the situation. So you know, so Madame Novak, I'll be reaching you from another number, from my second number, from my glow number, from my AT Salat number. So when you see the message ending in 2140, Madame, just no, it's me. Speaking of 2140, if you're having fun so far and you'd love to connect with me, then reach out to me, call me, WhatsApp me,
send me a text message on 08064662140. If you're interested in the sale audit, allow me to look over any of your business processes, then get in touch, call me, send me a text message or WhatsApp message 08064662140. Or if you'd like to join my WhatsApp channel where we talk about things like this every single day, you know, give nice tips and tricks, then WhatsApp me on the same number and I'm going to hook you up. So where was I to have So you call them, let them have this conversation and you tell them,
Auntie, I'm going to reach out on my this last number. It ends in dash, dash, dash, dash, dash. I even put my name there when you see it. Auntie, that is me. Please just save that new number, delete all these other ones. Now, that's the way you do it. So you say is, is, is, is more expensive. Of course it's more expensive to do it that way. Of course it's more expensive. But it's a much more stronger gesture. It's a much more meaningful gesture.
It's a much more impactful gesture. It's a much more memorable gesture. You send this in a message like this, you think Auntie is reading her message. The thing started, you know, and first of all, the message came to Auntie's inbox. It said good day my Udogu. And then on top it says forwarded 1000 times. You think she even read it? Want to be impactful here? Want auntie to actually engage and to remember we want her to store this new number.
There's no point in sending this message. Good day my udogu. Some of the people that receive it, they're female. Is there anything like an odogo S? And then because it says forwarded many times they didn't even read it. At the end of the day, they don't know that we switch phone number. Have we been effective? So yes, it's expensive, no problem. It's time consuming, slow down, make the stronger gesture, make the much more impactful gesture.
And then on the whole thing of you think it's even expensive, assuming you want to make a phone call, you know, it's not just like 6 naira per minute or something. You can discipline yourself. The OK, when I call each person to two minutes to 2 minutes, worst case 33 minutes, that is going to cost you maybe like 18 naira per call. Load up your phone 10K, start calling, pace yourself. 33 minutes, 33 minutes each phone call, 18 naira, 18 naira, 18
naira. That's what you think about it. Load up 10K each phone call I'm spending 18 hour. Let me begin. Let me see how far I can push it. OK, then I continue with the message. I would appreciate it if you kindly send me a message, even if it's just an emoji, blah, blah, blah, so I can respond promptly and continue attending to your requests without delay. OK, I've said this thing before and I'm saying it again. Don't give your customers homework.
Don't give them homework because when you give somebody homework, that is an opportunity for attrition. Every single time you tell the customer, a stakeholder, potential person, do this, do this, do this so I can get back to you. You are putting impediments in your path of progress because extra work is extra work. People already have work that they're doing. So when you tell the person reply to me on this strange number, say hi, something,
something, I mean a number that the person has not even saved because you know how it is on WhatsApp now. You know you have to save the number first before the thing shows up on WhatsApp. And then like, that's a lot of work. Put the responsibility on yourself. If I'm thinking of it now, I don't even know why this guy didn't just buy a new line, migrate all the contacts and then start reaching out on this new number on WhatsApp saying hello, this is me.
We have done business before and so so and so I have changed my phone number. This is my new line. I'm hoping to do business with you again in the future. Not having an easy thing. Not all this homework is giving people respond to me on this message. Go and send me chat me up on this lines. OK, Please don't be giving people homework. That's what leads to attrition. Let me say thank you very much always for your support Sir.
Of course, this message is going to be received by Madam Chidera and of course she's not a Sir. These are the many reasons why people are never want to read this message. I really wouldn't want to lose touch with you or have you attended by someone else? That's what he said. If that's what he said next, I don't want to lose touch with you or have you attended by someone? OK, Basically he's just saying I really appreciate you.
I don't want to lose your business. Now see this is what I'm saying. If you truly appreciate my business, is it from this kind of message that you sent me? When you call somebody, you invest 18 naira for a 3 minute call, you call somebody, is that not a stronger gesture to say that the person truly appreciates your business? He called you to let you know these are the changes going on at work. These are the changes going on in business and moving on to so,
so, so and so I'm just reaching out to stay in touch. That is a stronger gesture then this is now my own personal advice never put down in writing. Please listen my own personal advice, I'm not a career specialist and I'm not a human resource specialist, so talk to people who are special in that regards. But for me, my own personal personal thought, never put down in writing that you're leaving a company or being let go or being transferred or whatever.
It just leaves too many ambiguities in the customer's mind. So don't put it in writing. Call your favorite customer, have the conversation with them over the phone. It will give appropriate context and you will give a chance room for people to ask questions. The people who are concerned are she's the waiting up on SRQ. No, now, no, be sacked now promotion. You see, you have the conversation over on the phone. The person can ask what is on their mind.
You'll be able to address all their fears. You'll be able to answer all their questions. So in my own opinion, you know, big changes like this, except there's an obviously, you know, big, big, big change. Like they've promoted you to GMD or something like that. OK, there's not how that one can be misconstrued, but in this guy's case, now how it can be misconstrued, I may just pick up the phone and call people. Please let people have the appropriate context.
But I guess the summary of what I wanted to say is because I don't think people realize it. So if you didn't know before, I'm telling you now, the reason why I didn't know before is because subconsciously you've been seeing it, but the thing didn't click. What's up let's people know when a message has been forwarded. For me, what I see in my own inbox is forwarded message. I've seen that one before, forwarded message.
Then I have also seen some messages that it says forwarded many times. So from my own phone, I've seen two. I've seen forwarded message boldly on the top. I've also seen forwarded many times boldly on the top. From my mother in law's phone, I saw forwarded 1000. Something, something, something, something times. So I'm just letting you know, for those of us in Africa and Latin American countries, WhatsApp don't they notify people.
WhatsApp is telling people this is a forwarded message. So the formula to use is invest some time. That's the reason why I say get a Bluetooth keyboard, because copy paste, edit is easier when you use a Bluetooth keyboard or you hook up your WhatsApp account to your laptop so that you can control V sorry, Control C, that's copy. Control V, that is paste, and then you edit, then you hit send, and then that's just what you'll be doing.
OK, OK, Once you control C, that is copy, the next one is control V, that is paste. So all you'll be doing is control V paste, edit, send, Control V paste, edit, send, Control V paste, edit, send. So control V, control V edit, edit sense. And if you do it like that, it's hard work. But in one hour, I think you can do maybe like 50-60 people. Then of course you'll be tired because your mind will be numb. Then, you know, relax while making domain, watch a movie on Netflix, you know, come back, do another hour.
Then relax one, make a bar. Then, I don't know, listen to your favorite podcast, come back, do another one hour, then relax, you know, go and hang out with your boys or you know, go and call your girls, you know, come back that 9:00 to 10:00 do one hour. You see that like that as you don't space. I'm try the day. That's how you done 4 hours. If each hour you are doing 5060 people. That's how you know one day you don't like 200 contacts.
It's not bad. It's not bad at all. Slow it down. Let's be effective. We don't have to blast it out to the 2000. We don't have to finish those 2000 contacts today. We don't have to finish it today. Space it out. Give yourself time one week, two weeks. Then remember the communication hierarchy. There's some people who give good good money, big money, big money. In fact, there's one of my clients house former clients back in my event days, I went to his houses guys a former governor.
When the person came to the team, the person didn't just calm to say thank you order. The person came with the the portraits. That's the first time I saw portraits. That was I think 50 inches by I can't remember, sharp, but big, big portrait, big all the way up to my chest and I'm 61. I say I am 61. That's how tall I am. The portrait was from the ground all the way up to my chest as impressive. And with the Photoshop, this thing, the former governor sitting on a throne, you know,
leopard skin looking magnificent. Then of course he brought some some wines and stuff like that. I said impressive. So we should learn from those people. So you have somebody that has been a good client, that has been a you know that, you know, good, good, good, good money, you know, and then significant changes coming up in your business or you just want toast them or something, you know, face to face. And then the person showed up with a gift massive ass frame with some wine.
So for the customers that are worth it, communications hierarchy face to face, go and see them for the next group of people who are important, you know, give them a phone call. Then for the rest of us that didn't do business with you, because like this guy, I didn't do business with him at all. So I understand. I may tell you whether I'm an anyhow anyhow kind of person for those ones. Copy, paste, edit. But this forwarding thing, this forwarding madness, please, my brothers and sisters, those of us in Nigeria, those of us in Ghana, those of us in South Africa, those of us in Colombia,
those of us in Brazil, those of us in Venezuela, those of us in where else? Kenya, Malawi, you know those of us who in our country WhatsApp, WhatsApp, like our whole family is on WhatsApp, grandma is on WhatsApp, parents on WhatsApp, great grandma is on WhatsApp, the children in primary school, everybody's on WhatsApp. You understand those are communities. These are communities. Stop this forwarding madness. The goal is not for to send it to as many people as possible.
The goal is when I send it, I want the person to read it and digest it and take action. So remember that please. So applying these principles can be tricky. If you need me to look at your own particular circumstances, like I said, connect, reach out to me, call me, send me a text message, send me a WhatsApp message on 08064662140. If you want a sale audit, you want me to audit any of your business processes, it's not a problem.
WhatsApp me on the same number 08064662140. You can only join my WhatsApp channel where I write routinely dropping tips on these sorts of things. Then send me a WhatsApp message and I'll hook you up. So thank you very much for your time and attention. I'll catch you all some other time.
